This is Abbie with Kylah. Abbie is my good friend Tamera's daughter. I would like to share with you Abbie's story. Tamera thought Abbie had a lazy eye so she took her to see an eye doctor. When the doctor saw Abbie he said if Tamera hadn't brought her in when she did Abbie would be blind by the time she was 5...Abbie will be 5 in november! The pediatrician told them the lazy eye was something she would grow out off. Well that wasn't a good enough answer for Tamera. Abbie lost some vision in that eye and the dr. told them she may have to wear glasses later on. But that the surgery would correct the problem not the vision. The doctor told them they had to wait for the surgery b/c of insurance, and as soon as they could they did the surgery! Well she had surgery right after Kylah was born so they hadn't got to meet her. So thursday we went for a visit. I'm so happy to say that Abbie is doing great!!! Tamera said the problem that was causing her to go blind was fixed and .....SHE HAS 20/20 VISION!!! So praise God for another miracle and for great mother that listens to her instinct!
Kylah starting squiriming but Abbie kept smiling!
