PLAYING CATCH UP ON POST

Wednesday night was Kaitlyn's Upward Awards Banquet at church. It was so neat, they had a magician there to entertain the kids ...and adults! GO Kaitlyn

Kylah was extremely excited too. Mom could barely keep her in her lap. I've posted a video of her doing the same thing at Jacob's game!

Senior night

Last friday night we went to support my cousin Jacob (J-Money) at Senior Night. We had so much fun cheering him on. Go Patriots!!!

Papaw Hollis was right!

This past week was soooo pretty! My Papaw Hollis (who was a farmer) used to always say there are 2 pretty weeks in February. Well, we had one week so let's hope he was right for another. Mike and Varnell play flag football on Sundays. So since it was pretty Me and Kylah went to show our support. I couldn't pick my favorite of these pics. Sorry no pics of the guys playing but there is a long season ahead. These glasses still fit Kylah from when she was born!

Birthday week!

Today is my 24th Birthday!!! For my birthday wish , I wish I wasn't sick! Yes I have the greatest luck ever and caught the stomach bug on my birthday!! maybe I will feel better this weekend and celebrate then. Did I mention I have the best co-workers ever!!! I love them! Thursday at work I had a balloon on my station, cake and pizza!! Thanks girls!

Wednesday was my Dad's birthday. Happy birthday Papaw Mike! Kylah is making her lovely face!

Fun night

I cooked dinner last night and gave Kylah some mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. She loved it.

Okay so Me and Dee gave Kylah a bath and after it I decided to see what here hair would look like straight. She sat in my lap and let me blow dry and everything! It looks so light when straight. Yes Rachel she has a bob!

9 month ckeck up

We took Kylah to her 9 month check up on Friday. It was a great visit b/c she is doing so good and NO SHOTS!!! But they did have to check her hematocrit and a lead test. Her hematocrit was great we will have to wait for the lead test. She didn't cry when they pricked her toe but she sure didn't want to fill the tubes.

WOW!!! She is now almost 1o months old. I'm so thankful for a happy baby! I couldn't ask for anything else!! She is perfect and happy. We are soooo lucky. So lately little things have been reminding me that my baby is growing up and making me sad. Changing out clothes in her closet to the next size.... Eating 3rd food......talking.....but now Gerber also thinks my kid is growing up. If you know about Gerber they have symbols to help guide you to what your child might be ready to eat. Well they sent me new coupons and Kylah's symbol is not a crawler anymore it is a toddler!!!!! No I don't think of her as a toddler but I guess Gerber does!
She is now playing patty cake......well they way she wants too!!
